Length- 1.52 miles Width- .40 miles Depth- 50' Acres- 320 Town of Queensbury, south of Lake George. I-87 Exit 20 to Rt. 9 south 1/2 mile to Glen Lake Road, east to lake.
Launch site next to Docksider Restaurant; pay parking fee at restaurant, Cottage rentals on lake. Motels, campgrounds and restaurants also nearby.
Rainbow Trout, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Pickerel, Walleye, Perch, Sunfish and Bullhead.
Trout; April 1- October 15; Any Size; Daily limit 5; Ice fishing illegal. All other Species SEE NEW YORK STATE GENERAL ANGLING REGULATIONS
Glen Lake is a good early morning and late evening water. It has good to excellent pickerl, perch, sunfish and bullhead fishing. Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass fishing is fair to good, with some lunker fish taken each year. The lake is a small body of water and is easily fished from a small boat. Glen Lake is perfect for a quiet evening of fishing, and is also an excellent water to warmer live bait fish with children. The lake has a limited walleye fishery, but an angler can take fish up to 6-7 lbs.
Smallmouth Bass: South end and southwest shoreline, rocky points. Fish shallows during dawn hours, late evening, and at night. Work structure down to 35' on bright days. Pickerel and Bullheads: Weedy shallows 5-15' deep. North end
of lake is the best. Walleye: Troll or jig the 20-30-40' structure lines during the day, southeast shoreline 5-20' down at night. Panfish: Same areas bass are found. Evening hours: fish surface lures. Daylight hours: fish 5-10' deep.
